Reject a roof model that is awaiting review, so that it is not accepted and no credits are consumed.

This permanently deletes the design and everything attached to it: proposals, agreements, plan sets, financings, pricing, adders and design assets. It cannot be undone.

AI Roof writes the model directly into the design, and the generated geometry cannot be removed on its own, so rejecting deletes the design. Use this only on a design created to receive an AI Roof model, not one you intend to keep.

Applies only to a model generated with defer_auto_accept set on Run AI Roof, while it is still within its one hour review window. Once a model has been accepted, it can no longer be rejected.

Rejection and deletion are all-or-nothing. If the design cannot be deleted, this operation returns 409 and the model is not rejected: it stays awaiting review and will be accepted, and billed, when the review window elapses. Common causes are a completed permit request, a shared milestone, an applied financing, or a signed agreement. Clear the blocker and call again before the window elapses.
